Why Natural White ~4500K[edit | edit source]

  • Most even illumination for photometric stereo on skin
  • True white phosphor (RGBW) gives cleaner white than RGB mixing
  • Warm white causes yellow cast; cool white causes specular highlights

Key Specs[edit | edit source]

  • Outer diameter: 66mm (24-LED ring) | Power: 5V DC, up to 1.2A | Chip: SK6812 RGBW

Datasheets[edit | edit source]

Libraries[edit | edit source]

Signal Conditioning[edit | edit source]

  • 470Ω resistor in series on data line (protects GPIO, prevents ringing)
  • 1000µF 10V capacitor across power rails (prevents brown-out on LED inrush)
